When animating, I used the app iMotion Pro on my phone to easily capture and manoeuvre around my character on all of my sets. The pro version of the app allowed me access to more advance techniques, such as changing the frame rate, differing focal point as well as being easy to use.

Once I had captured all the footage, I used another software on my laptop to edit the animation together. Used iMovie as it is free and already accessible on my laptop.

In the editing process, I made sure the cuts between the opening sequence changed in time with the music. This tempo was face pace and tedious, but it was effective when in time and synced.
When animating my final piece, I used gels as well as set up studio lights. In post production, in iMovie, I manipulated the colour features from a mix of green and purple to blue overlay, to blend all the footage together. This was an effective process and it made animation look cohesive as a whole.
I also added freeze frame sections edited in my footage. Some of the motions of my mouse character moved too fast, and by adding these techniques slowed down and emphasised the figure's movements.
As the narrative progresses, the lighting changes and shifts from a cool to a warm tone, as the mouse gets closer to the circus tent. I emphasised this change again by increasing the saturation levels on the end few clips of footage.
